"Saving America's Horses"
The goals of the Respect 4 Horses Organization are:
- First and foremost, our goal is to get H.R. 503, S.727, and H.R. 1579 passed, because this is how we save 130,000 horses per year! Simone (founder of Respect 4 Horses) and some of our board members spend a lot of time in Washington to persuade legislators to cosponsor the bills. (H.R. 1018 passed in the House, Hooray, one step closer!!)
- To rescue slaughter horses, wild horses, and abused horses.
- To retrain these horses with natural horsemanship principals so that they may find homes and be good companions.
- To educate the public about the atrocities that go on in this “civilized” country we live in.
- To motivate the public to write letters to legislators in support of H.R. 503 and S.727 and S.1579.
- To train the new owners together with the adoptive horses, so they may always understand each other.
- To raise funds for this Rescue and funds for advertising and commercials.
- To produce products like the Horse Rescue Calendar that will secure funding and raise awareness to save many more horses.
